The barn is almost complete.  Upstairs, the beams have been finished.  The old beams were preserved and the supporting steel and pine beams encased with old-barn-siding from Pennsylvania.

Once upon a time there was a barn, with an old, stone foundation, old beams and a few ratty windows. Once upon a time, a bit later, there was a barn, still sporting an old stone foundation, old beams, new beams, insulation, many, many, great big windows, stairs and a a few doors (and heat!).
