The barn got sheet-rocked this week.  Amazing Space how sweet the sound.

Grand Central Garbage Track 15

Does anyone take the 6:25 am train from South Norwalk to Grand Central which comes in, most days on 'Garbage Track 15'?  Amazing - - along side the platform on one side are all manner of blue cabooses and flat-bed train cars piled high with baled newspaper and cardboard.  Lined up along the wall are a dozen or so anthropomorphic little carts and cars, trucks and lifts.  Shown above is a little Police cab.  All the better angels live near by.

We dug a trench to the barn.  Okay, we had a trench dug to the barn for the propane gas for the heater.  According to the electrician, there was already enough electricity in the barn.  We covered over the gas-line trench.  Okay, we had someone cover over the trench.  And then the electrician thought it would be good if we had more electricity in the barn.  So we dug a trench to the barn, for the electricity.  Okay, we had someone dig a trench to the barn for the electricity.  And that's where we are now.

I was down in Philadelphia, yesterday.  And I saw this wonderful sight.  First there was the sad sight of this blueberry drink, having landed on the sidewalk.  But then, the wonderful juxtaposition of blueberries, lavender liquid, pink straw, pink slippers, upon the gray sidewalk. Got to smile.  And the young girl who dropped her drink, enjoyed my thinking her spilt drink was photo-worthy.  She was glad to have made my day.  Or, so she said.
Here is my homage to Ellsworth Kelly.  I was sitting, this morning, in my parents kitchen, in the house I grew up, which is to presume that I indeed, grew up.  That aside, I was sitting there, at the white formica 48 inch round table where I ate hostess cupcakes and and read LIFE and LOOK after school, and ate dinners, and, this morning, I noticed the curve of the table.  And so, here is my homage to Ellsworth Kelly.
